Deborah Rafalin is a Chartered Counselling
Psychologist who completed her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology
at the University of Surrey in 1998. Deborah is an experienced psychological
therapist who has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds with
a broad range of difficulties. She has worked extensively within
the NHS, in the voluntary sector and in an established central London
private practice. Deborah works with Adults and Adolescents, individually
and in groups, and is experienced in working in a range of psychological
therapy approaches. Deborah is an approved Chartered Counselling
Psychologist by BUPA, PPP and Norwich Union private insurers.
In
addition to her extensive psychological therapy experience, Deborah
is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at City
University , London. Deborah trains Counselling Psychologists on their professional
Doctoral programme and also researches clinical issues in the field
of Counselling Psychology. Her academic involvement allows her
to keep her knowledge up to date which greatly benefits her psychological
therapy practice. Deborah is also a clinical supervisor for Counselling
Psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.
